As we prepare our platform for the Colorado Natural Medicine Program, we found ourselves referencing the hundreds of pages of rules, laws, and guidelines that our friendly regulators have shared.

And as tech folk, we decided that it’d be helpful to train an AI model on all of this content so we can ask it questions. I was on the phone with a soon-to-be Healing Center today, and we found it useful in going through some of the nuance in the regulations. They asked if I could share the bot, and I realized that there’s no reason we shouldn’t just set it up to share with the community. So, here it is. 🙂

How it works:

  • The bot is trained on the rules, laws, and guidelines that DOR and DORA published. You can access all of the source documents here.
  • The bot does not pull any additional information from the internet. It only uses these source documents.
  • The tool is powered by OpenAI and is a “Custom GPT” app. This means you’ll need to have a free account to access it.
  • Simply ask the bot any questions you have!

Below is a screen shot of it in use. I asked it a couple of questions about the psilocybin storage limits for Healing Centers. You can always ask it to expand on its answers if you want a more in-depth solution.
