Colorado Psychedelic “Industry”

One of the things I’ve found most interesting about working in the world of psychedelics is the near universal aversion to calling it an “industry” or “market.” If you’ve had a powerful psychedelic experience, you can probably relate to the feelings of oneness and interconnectivity they can manifest–seemingly antithetical to competition and capitalism. Yet, that’s the world we find ourselves in.

In my first contribution to Boulder Weekly, I explore the industry that is being created in Colorado. We voted to create a regulated pathway, here’s how it’s shaping up.
