Althea’s Psychedelic Preparation Circle is a supportive, small-group program designed to help you thoughtfully prepare for psilocybin-assisted therapy within a legal, regulated framework.
Whether you’re actively planning a session or exploring the possibility, this circle will help you clarify your intentions, deepen your psychological readiness, and make the most of your journey—before, during, and beyond.
What’s Included
Weekly group meetings (60 minutes), June-July (8 meetings)
Live virtual sessions facilitated by Lex Joyal, Althea’s Psychedelic Care Navigator. Each week focuses on a theme—from intention-setting to integration planning—with space for discussion, reflection, and Q&A. There will be 8 meetings from June-July 2025. Meetings will be at 7pm MT on Tuesdays.
Guided journaling prompts
Receive weekly prompts to help you surface your intentions, reflect on your fears and desires, and ground your journey in what matters most.
Journey planning tools
Learn how to prepare your mindset (“set”) and environment (“setting”), vet a facilitator, understand dosage and safety considerations, and create a support network for before and after your session.
Integration support
Explore what it means to turn insight into action. We’ll cover practical approaches for making meaning, creating new habits, and tending to the neuroplastic window of healing in the weeks that follow your experience.
Optional microdosing coaching
Learn how microdosing can support preparation and integration, with optional guidance for incorporating it safely and intentionally.
